Recruiter Hacks: Part Two

If you’re a recruiter and are only using Outlook, your database and LinkedIn as tools to help you make money, you may as well be riding your pet dinosaur to the office to fax over that important CV to the company you found in the yellow pages.

Seriously though, in the modern day you might be missing out on a world of tools that could really help you make more money!

We previously brought you Nine Technology Hacks that you’ve no doubt been using everyday since (if not, you should be).

Here are another five!

1. SearchQuant

Automatically view tons of profiles on LinkedIn to drive return views to yours.

‘Who’s Viewed Your Profile’ is apparently LinkedIn’s most-used feature. We all want to know who’s looking at us, and find out the reason they decided to click on our profile.

SearchQuant turns your prospects’ curiosity into a steady rain of inbound leads for sales, candidate sourcing, job seeking, field marketing or P.R.

There’s a helpful introductory video to give you the low down:

There’s a seven day free trial which means you can see if it works for you. Chances are if you have live jobs and updates on your LinkedIn profile, they’ll be seen by a huge number of your target market.

2. SourceBreaker

SourceBreaker is a product we’re really excited about at Hunted. There are a number of reasons for this:

1. The first is that it’s a truly disruptive product making massive waves in the recruitment industry – and we love disruptive tech!

2. The second is the product has a direct impact on a recruiter’s ability to make money. The product is a search tool that assists your candidate generation through intelligent sourcing algorithms. This means you uncover more candidates than your competition. Which in turn means you make more lovely lovely money.

SourceBreaker How it works

Don’t just take our word for it – take a look at any one of the many testimonials they have from people already reaping the rewards.

“SourceBreaker generated 1,000%+ increases in candidates for a number of consultants”

- Kalpesh, Senior Partner, Sthree

3. The third reason we love SourceBreaker, is they’re one of the latest partners to Hunted, and are currently recruiting for Recruitment consultants who are looking for a truly excellent sales role and a slight change of scenery. Get on Hunted to apply!

3. Charlie

Running to a meeting and horrendously unprepared? Imagine if you could get every tidbit of information on social media quickly about your client, in one place, to give you a cutting edge for when you arrive. Imagine no more. Whether it’s a tweet, a mutual contact, Facebook updates or their latest blog post you’ll see it.

Charlie combs through 100s of sources and automatically sends you a one‐pager on everyone you’re going to meet with, before you see them.

And now for something completely different…

What’s the best tool for you to make money in recruitment? It’s you! You’re the best tool. If you’re not operating at 100% you’re not utilising yourself. Here are two really different tools that will assist with that.

4. Headspace

Headspace is a mobile app that assists ‘mindfulness’, or to put it another way – meditation.

Before you scoff at the suggestion meditation can help you to be a better recruiter, it’s been helping people in numerous ways for thousands of years. Ask any yogi if they think it could help and get back to me.

In Headspace’s own words:

“Headspace members, suggest that regular mindfulness practice, through meditation, is an effective treatment for stress, worry, lack of focus, relationship problems, addictions and more. It leads to peace of mind and wellbeing, greater focus and creativity and better relationships.”

What’s better than that? They’ll give you a free taster to see if it works. Check it out.
