Job Spec

You will be able to demonstrate previous success as a people manager, and you’ll be hungry to pass on your expertise through coaching, mentoring and leading by example. You’ll contribute to the financial success of the business and be inspirational to your colleagues; encouraging them to perform and meet their sales targets!

Working on either the programming or creative desk, you will lead a small team of Recruiters by demonstrating excellent skills across the 360-recruitment process; you’ll be confident managing the recruitment cycle from candidate attraction to new business development. You will be a consistent billing member of the team whilst being an invaluable resource to the Consultants who you will mentor and coach along their journey with Aardvark Swift. You’ll help them to generate ideas on how to work difficult vacancies – thinking outside of the box to attract candidates via a diverse range of sources – whilst focusing on the firm favourites – our database and LinkedIn.

You will be an expert using agency recruitment tools – CRM systems, LI Recruiter for headhunting activities, and be a skilled networker who can build strong connections in our niche.

You will partner with a range of clients from exciting start-up indie companies to thriving AAA studios to help them source experienced programming candidates across their business. You’ll become a specialist within your market working to nurture and grow a specialist network of both clients and candidates alongside building your own brand.

You will drive the business forward and support the team in new business development activities to reach video game companies across the globe, expanding our geographical reach and in the future, associated industries.

Skills & Experience:

- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in recruitment – agency preferable over internal. 

- Experience as a “360” perms recruitment consultant; experience within a niche market. 

- Experience on managing a team – minimum of 1 year ideally. 

- Proven track record of billings and able to hit the ground running building strong relationships with candidates and clients from day one.

- Hungry and determined personality. 

- Self-motivated 

- Able to work autonomously yet stay within the process framework. 

- Willingness to follow a well-honed recruitment process which is standardised throughout Aardvark Swift to ensure good practise throughout the business.
