Why do we need someone?


William Alexander Consulting has an established client base in the private sector, especially within Financial Services.

We have recently made the decision to target the public sector and have
successfully tendered for the DOS4/5, GCloud12 and Bloom procurement frameworks and won our first public sector engagement with a major central government client.  

This is a new role and your responsibility will be to use this platform to successfully grow our public sector client base by developing and maintaining new relationships with central government and other public sector bodies.

Who are we looking for?

Essential Skills and Experience


• Commercial consultancy or recruitment sales experience

• Commercial experience working in technology and/or change

• Previous experience selling services to the Public Sector

• Previous experience working on G-Cloud or DOS opportunities

• Successful sales track record


Desirable Skills


• Experience writing bids and tenders

• Previous technology consultancy or professional services sales experience

• Experience selling services to central government clients

• Able to self-motivate and manage your own time effectively

• Strong team player

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Able to demonstrate confident presentation skills

• Excellent organisational skills
