The Researcher role is all about delivery and at William Alexander delivery is everything. As a Researcher your role would be to identify, attract and qualify suitable candidates for each client requirement (either contract or permanent) for a wide variety of top brand clients in a number of different industries from global luxury retail brands to fin-tech start-ups. Working in a high performing team you will have the opportunity to learn from a team of 12 Researchers with a combined total of over 100 years IT recruitment experience between them! As we grow and as you progress you would likely get the opportunity to either move into a Research Team Lead, Account Manager or Business Development roles or if you prefer to stay purely delivery focused you can become a Senior Research Consultant at the top of your game.
Up to 15% Researcher commission (15% of total placement GP - this is not split with a sales person). 25 days holiday from starting (plus an additional day for your birthday). There is always, always a boat on conference
Once a year if we hit target we go on conference... (which has been every year so far but one). 2 nights and 3 days somewhere nice and warm every June. Barcelona, Malta, Bodrum and Paphos have been the destinations for the last four years and if we hit target we all go, Directors, Business Consultants, Researchers, Back Office - everyone. No "Golden Director Lunch Winners Circle" nonsense here. Who the hell wants to have lunch with a couple of grey faced middle aged men who last billed in 2005 anyway? I am talking about other agencies here obviously. Both our Directors have lovely complexions and still run their own desks.

The researcher commission scheme at William Alexander is one of the best commission schemes for resourcers in the industry, being paid up to 15%, with no thresholds and dealt with completely separately to Business Consultants commission. Last year the average researcher commission made was £14,000, whilst our top 3 Researchers all earned over £25,000 in commission alone, one of whom was in her first full year in recruitment.
You will need to have some Recruitment Resourcing experience, either as a delivery consultant or in a 360 role and be looking for a purely delivery focused role (at least initially). IT recruitment experience is great but we would equally consider someone from another industry and who is happy to learn. More importantly we also want you to have: • Excellent Communication skills - written, verbal and listening • Good attention to detail • Positivity, self-motivation and enthusiasm • A high level of integrity and an ethical approach • A good sense of humour
