Based down in vibrant, sunny Brighton (well, Hove actually), William Alexander boast excellent retention. No one has left the company since October 2016. To us, that says a heck of a lot. With a very experienced delivery team, their industry experience really does give them an edge against the competitive IT recruitment landscape. Oh, and did we mention, if the company hits target everyone goes on the company trip. Yes, everyone.
We have very fancy WeWork offices at No. 1 Poultry (right by Bank tube) which our Business Consultants use as a base between meetings and for candidate interviews and all that sort of thing. They are probably wearing business suits and possibly helping themselves to free beer after 4 pm.
Meanwhile, everyone else is wearing anything they like in our fantastic central Hove office, 5 minutes from the beach where we can see the sea every day from our 4th-floor windows..
And did I mention the PS4, the stand-up desks, the shower room, the beer fridge or the semi-legendary "Wheel of Deal"? No, I didn't.
If you already live in Brighton why would you want to spend 2 hours of every day of your working life underneath someone's armpit on a Southern Rail train to then spend all day in a suit when you can work in Hove dressed in flip flops and only go to London when you need to?
And if you don't already live in Brighton & Hove, then perhaps you should. It's very nice.
The obligatory pool table..
Who are we?
William Alexander is a specialist Technology & Business Change recruiter.
Established in February 2010, we are now a team of 29, turned over in excess of £18 million in our ninth year of operation and plan to double in size over the next 5 years.
From the beginning, we wanted to differentiate ourselves from our competitors by hiring high caliber individuals who share our ethical approach to recruitment and who we actually enjoy working with on a daily basis (which in IT recruitment does rather narrow the potential pool of candidates....)
Everyone probably says this stuff, but not everyone can honestly boast of 4% staff turnover (in an industry that averages 25-30%) and that not a single client-facing Business Consultant has left William Alexander since we started in February 2010 for any reason whatsoever.
That has to mean something good, surely?
