You will work on permanent or contract roles in the secretarial and business support space, such as – Executive Assistants, PAs, Office Managers, Team Assistants, Front of House and more. Joining this part of the business, you’ll work directly with ISE owners/leaders, who still run highly successful 360˚ recruitment desks, and are always on hand to mentor as you build your mini business within theirs. Added to this, you’ll be welcomed to ISE with a warm desk and well-cultivated client relationships, ready for you to swing into action from ‘day one’.
In order to surpass your personalised targets, duties will include – Being a positive and professional force at all times. Maintaining excellent business relationships and conducting outstanding searches: Being there for clients whenever needed (within reason!), meeting/speaking with them regularly, continuously researching their company, so that you can add meaningfully to ongoing discussion around business and role needs. Briefing candidates in an intelligent and informed way, taking time to answer their questions, ensuring they and the role are suited. Presenting the client with well-written candidate profiles, with all key information – skills and relevant experience, current remuneration, notice period, holidays booked, competing opportunities, etc. Maintaining ongoing and open communication with both client and candidate, passionately and honestly representing both.
Building your desk in a proactive and imaginative manner: Taking an organised and creative approach to sales, including accurate database record keeping. Demonstrating a passion for our core client base, whilst also suggesting other suitable avenues for exploration. Generating business through use of social media, sales emails, calls, event attendance, your personal network, etc. Building your industry knowledge through use of journals, articles, blogs, newspapers, televised news, internet research, asking questions, etc. Attending the fortnightly BD Breakfast, coming prepared and ready to share ideas.
Being an integral and enthusiastic team member: Looking for opportunities to collaborate. Selling both ISE’s temp and perm offering, in order to proactively generate business for both sides. Helping and covering for one another as needed, e.g. holidays, sickness, someone having their hands full when you have capacity to share workload. Being an enthusiastic positive culture carrier. Making sure your record-keeping is actuate, to help others working with the same client/candidate. Trying to keep an ear open for what others are working on, so that you can be sensitive to their priorities and pressures. You’re always welcome to look for ways to contribute to the wider business, take on more and professionally grow, too!
