Your Division and Role

You'll be working alongside a superb team of four consultants (two in our Manchester office), all of which are in a 360 capacity and have been in recruitment between 6-18 months, with an immediate focus to grow the division's headcount and revenue. This position reports directly in to our directorship team. Inheriting a warm desk, with nationwide clients as varied as retailers, media, construction, finance etc. we're looking for the successful applicant to build a six-figure desk over the initial twelve months whilst displaying excellent leadership skills. Alongside driving your desk you'll find yourself regularly out of the office building commercial partnerships with prospective clients as well as attending of regular events. There is HUGE scope for growth. Our Credit division currently sits at 20% the size of our Payroll division for example with similar market sizes (and plenty of shared clients), giving an idea of quite how large this team could grow to over the coming years.

Person Specification

• Excellent contingency success rate, either on a Perms or Temps/Contracts desk, juggling multiple, fast-paced accounts alongside regular business development focus • Desire to become a true industry expert in the world of Credit and affiliated career paths • The willingness to lead from the front, initial focus on building your network and desk/billings • Flexibility with travel/attendance to visit clients as well as attending events around the year • Aspirations for leadership, including the development of existing staff and the recruitment of new consultants (previous leadership experience desirable but not essential) • Sitting on the management board we want this person to bring fresh ideas to the commercial 'driving forward' of The Portfolio Group • A friendly and welcoming yet determined character who fits Portfolio's ethos and represents us fantastically to the market
