Mark Warburton set up Pioneer Search 7 years ago to deliver a consultative recruitment experience for candidates within IT and clients within Financial Services. Since then Pioneer has grown and evolved into the business it is today. We have 5 teams; Core Technology, Change & Transformation, Data & Analytics, Cyber Security & Cloud and Electronics Engineering. Being a small office means culture and fit is imperative for us. We all get on and like banter but we're also well aware we have a job to get done. Joining Pioneer at this key stage in it's growth means you have a massive impact on the future of Pioneer and who we hire next. The candidates and clients we work with are corporate and usually pretty senior which means that we do have to be serious some of the time, but when we're not on the phone to clients and candidates there is usually lot's of jokes and banter whizzing across the office, with discussions of next team nights out top of the chat! We like to do a monthly night out like crazy golf, bowling or go-karting, but we will also do drinks after work as and when people are around.
Once new starters have learnt the basics we do offsite training with our Director Mark on client info/contracts/candidate interviewing. We also use an external training provider where we will select specific courses relevant for your level and where you want to go in your career at Pioneer. Throughout your career at Pioneer you have access to both Director's of the business, who are both on hand if you have any questions. You will also have constant support from Pioneer's Office Manager who can answer most other questions you might have!
