We are looking for someone who has the drive and initiative to build something for themselves and bring ideas to us as well as being able to deliver fantastic candidates into our already large client base.

DRIVE This role will involve some business development as well as Account Management, so we need people who have the drive to push themselves on a daily basis! DETERMINATION You will have the ability to build your own desk and client list! AMBITION If you do well, we do well, it's that simple! We want you to bring us ideas and new ways to attract clients and candidates. INQUISITIVE We want people who have a genuine interest in the sector they are building and have the INITIATIVE to research and hunt out new candidates & clients! PROVEN recruitment experience, with any Electronics or Insurance IT or experience beneficial

What will you be doing?

- Utilising all forms of Social Media to attract top quality candidates! - Business Development- researching/calling/building new clients for your team - Headhunting and talking to prospective candidates - Account Management and relationship building

Training & Development!

Once new starters have learnt the basics we do offsite training with our Director Mark on client info/contracts/candidate interviewing. We also use an external training provider where we will select specific courses relevant for your level and where you want to go in your career at Pioneer. Throughout your career at Pioneer you have access to both Director's of the business, who are both on hand if you have any questions. You will also have constant support from Pioneer's Office Manager who can answer most other questions you might have!

Who are Pioneer?

Who are Pioneer? Our Directors, Mark Warburton and Tom Vincent, set up Pioneer Search 6 years ago. Their objective? To deliver a consultative recruitment experience for candidates within IT and clients within Financial Services. Since then, Pioneer has grown and evolved into an £8m per year turnover company who recruit for Big Blue Chips, banks, insurance companies and European electronics companies. Two markets: Electronic Engineering – Technology & Change Within the teams, our experienced Consultants focus on different areas including Software Development, Infrastructure & Cloud, BI & Big Data, Embedded, Electronics and Agile & Change.

Company Culture

Being a small office means culture and fit is imperative for us. We all get on and like banter but we're also well aware we have a job to get done. Joining Pioneer at this key stage in it's growth means you have a massive impact on the future of Pioneer and who we hire next. The candidates and clients we work with are corporate and usually pretty senior which means that we do have to be serious some of the time, but when we're not on the phone to clients and candidates there is usually lot's of jokes and banter whizzing across the office, with discussions of next team nights out top of the chat!
