Carisbrook Partners is a financial services search and advisory firm, wholly owned by our Partners. We are currently 13 experienced consultants, based in The Shard in London. We take a mature, collaborative approach to our recruitment; focused on providing a high quality and additive service to our clients. We work closely with number of Investment Banks, Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, Trading Houses and Custodians. Our relationships with senior stakeholders are strong and longstanding, many dating back over a decade. We currently have four core practice areas: Fixed Income, Quantitative Strategies, Global Prime & Investor Services, and Commodities. These markets are covered globally by all consultants.
We would like to speak to polished, articulate recruiters of any level who already work in search, or have an interest in moving into a more search-like environment. Our backgrounds pre-Carisbrook are diverse, spanning executive search through to blue-collar, regional recruitment. We have had great success taking recruiters from a contingent background and turning them into rounded search consultants. We are also keen to speak to more senior, established search consultants who have a developed market. Something within financial services or commodities would be a natural fit, but we are very happy to explore broader diversification!
We prioritise quality over quantity and long-term business building over short-term wins. We do not manage by KPI’s, and give our people the time and encouragement they need to become experts in their space. We all (partners included) have a monthly meeting with a partner to discuss the month and the priorities ahead, but this is led entirely by you. The foundation of our business is built on some extremely strong, long-term relationships and this is what we aim for all our consultants to develop. Getting out on meetings with people in your space is encouraged, even (shock horror!) if you do not have an immediate need for them. Everyone at Carisbrook Partners is hands on and we constantly learn from and challenge each other. We encourage a co-operative atmosphere, we do not rank individuals but instead have an office target that we all work towards together. This normally results in an amazing weekend away together to celebrate another good year!

Our commission structure is an increasing percentage of your annual billings – the more you bill in a calendar year, the higher the percentage you take home. Commission is paid on each placement, so you don’t have to wait until year end to collect. The scheme is variable dependant on what you bring to the table and what you want as a base! It is simple, very competitive and designed for our consultants to be extremely well rewarded for the revenue they generate.
