This year, they are DENS: a charity seeking solutions to the problems of homeless people and poverty. The Pepper Foundation: an innovative paediatric team offering specialist palliative care and support to children with life-threatening or life-limiting illnesses. Thomley: a place for disabled people, their families, carers and friends with experienced and nurturing staff. The Swan Youth Project: a safe and fun space for young people offering a range of activities, support and opportunities to broaden horizons. We raise money through fundraising events as well as day-to-day through allocating funds from activities such as sending a CV, arranging an interview, or issuing an invoice. We raised over £18,000 for our charities in 2018 and £24,000 in 2017.
