Linux Recruit are true specialists in their market, which means they have the same buy-in from clients as a larger brand, with all of the benefits of working for a smaller agile business. They run the biggest DevOps meetup in the world at over 5,000 attendees and their Trainees have billed over £200k in their first year. There's bags of autonomy, based out of a truly impressive office. This is an awesome culture which harbours success and above all, enjoyment in being successful.
We help build some of the best technology teams in the world, and we need someone to help build our internal team. LinuxRecruit have built up a highly effective team where each employee has real opportunity to be incredibly successful, working with some of the most highly regarded technology companies in the world. We have a great reputation for Linux and Open Source recruitment (if we do say so ourselves), but we’re definitely not resting on our laurels. We want to continue to grow in this area while expanding into other markets and verticals and keeping way ahead of the chasing pack. That’s where you come in. We’re looking for someone who can help connect LinuxRecruit with the best recruitment talent out there and create a working environment where everyone is well supported and able to achieve their best. This definitely isn’t a role where you’ll just be organising interviews and sending out InMails.
To do well in this role, you’ll need to understand how to identify great recruitment talent, and have the skills and experience to build a pipeline to help us meet our objectives as a business. Ideally, we are looking for someone with proven track record in recruiting recruiters, whether that be at an agency or as a Rec2Rec. However, if you have a different background that you think would set you up well for this role, do get in touch - we’re looking for the right person, not just a CV. If you’ve worked in an Internal Recruitment role, implementing culture and process, but no experience hiring recruiters, then we would also like to speak to you, This is a critical role for us as a business, and we’re looking for someone with the passion and skills to help us achieve our goals.
You’ll have a blank canvas to implement your own processes and procedure, with ownership of the full lifecycle of the recruitment for LinuxRecruit. This will include areas like: * Implementing and managing applicant tracking systems to monitor key aspects of the recruitment process and hone an optimal hiring process. * Developing a long-term recruitment strategy, including the development of our brand, and identification of promotional opportunities. * Working with the leadership team to drive the LinuxRecruit culture forward, and implement company benefits and perks. * Working with the management team to identify and mitigate any employee retention issues, as well as with areas like performance reviews. * Managing onboarding and induction process, and ensuring we are creating a positive candidate and new hire experience at every stage.
You will be paid a bonus on each placement, you'll receive a good salary and benefits. You'll also get to be a part of the LinuxRecruit team, where we regularly come up with ways to celebrate hard work, whether that's going go-karting, or getting some drinks into the office to toast a great week! There's also a larger lunch club and quarterly holiday target for those on track with their targets. Last year the team went to watch the Euros in Paris, and we're off to Las Vegas to celebrate a great year next month.
We know everyone in recruitment says they are specialists. But we take our word seriously. We see ourselves as part of the Open Source industry. We're a committed group of true consultants, who enjoy working in recruitment. We want people who favour a long-term relationship, rather than hit and run business. Our consultants understand the industry inside out, are pragmatic and don't beat around the bush (we refer to ourselves as Recruitment Consultants, you won't find any 'Talent Ninjas' here). We're looking for an internal recruiter that gets what we're all about and wants to be a part of it.
We have a great open plan office in the heart of London, near Monument/Bank station, so it's really easy to reach us by tube or bus. The office also has showers and secure bike storage available if you like to cycle in! The office has lots of break-out areas, and a roof terrace complete with cafe/bar with amazing views of the city where you can pick up breakfast, lunch or an after work drink. Just outside you'll find lots of places to grab food or shop your lunch break away.
