Strategy Team

River currently has several positions available on our Strategy team. We are looking for experienced consultants to come and join the expanding team and proactively BD into the industries and specialisms which are core to River, but into geographies which are of interest to you. There is opportunity at River to become team leaders and/or mentors for our emerging Associate Consultants.

Growth Plan

River Partnership is currently at a exciting growth point. We are two thirds of the way through a 1000-day plan to grow 300%...with the next 1000 day plan in sight... The only way to achieve this plan is to hire more ambitious, driven and entrepreneurial individuals who can take ownership and pride of the projects they are working on to place best in class leaders for our clients. In short, we are looking for self-starters who are motivated and inspired to build successful teams and desks.

Projects at River

We work on senior level mandates from Senior Manager through to Partner. Typical salary banding for our projects are £70,000 - £500,000 and our clients vary from global institutions through to super agile, disruptive new entrants. We are heavily invested in doing business globally with our specialist network which spans from London > Europe > SE Asia > Australia > US

If you have an interest in, or affinity with the US, Middle East, Continental Europe or South East Asia then you’ll likely be able to create opportunity to spend time there doing business.

UK, France, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Romania, USA, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, UAE, Qatar and Morocco.


Being an international business, it is integral to us that we have linguists working at River. If you speak any of the following languages fluently; then this would be very much of interest to us; - German - French - Dutch - Spanish - Mandarin


Being an Executive Search firm based in London with such a wide global reach with our clients, international travel becomes an integral part of our business. The team here at River have recently travelled to Singapore, Hong Kong, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland and France with further trips to Europe, the US and Asia planned in the coming months.


We run some really fun incentives whether it's meals out at nice restaurants, team sporting events or trips overseas.
