Why are we here?

17 years ago in the midst of the dot com crash we started Eligo for one simple reason; we loved recruitment but not so much the way it was being done in the companies we had worked in before. So, we set out to start a company that would do recruitment differently, placing our staff and their passion for recruitment at the heart of our business, and ultimately, where we would all enjoy coming to work. Since, we've grown organically to 5 divisions, 2 offices, and an ever-growing team, and we're still as ambitious as before. Our current divisions are: Technology SAP Fire & Security Medical Events

What is it you love about Recruitment?

The money can be great. There’s a certain thrill to the chase and place. And you’re in control of your own destiny, right? You know it could still be better though. You're billing 6 figures. You're ambitious. You're genuinely passionate about your market and your job. You definitely deserve more. More means having the support to continue to grow your successes. More means having free rein to target who you want, where you want; no restrictions. More means taking your craft to the next level with a dedicated marketing team, freedom to exhibit and attend leading industry events, and an open door to talk through your next idea to make recruitment better. Right now? You’re probably being told less is more, to carry on smashing the phones, to dream big whilst standing still. Check out the rest of our page to find our better. Love recruitment at Eligo and find your more.

Be your own success, be supported whilst doing so.

Our culture is very much a meritocracy; if you have an idea, a plan, or something you want to achieve, bring your ideas to the table and show us how you plan to achieve it and we'll be behind you all the way. What's more, we have a great team of support including a dedicated Marketing team, Operations team, and training programme to ensure that you achieve your full potential.

Andy & John - Our Directors

Eligo offer you the opportunity to build your desk the way you feel it should be done, they offer you the support and encouragement needed to succeed in what can be a brutal industry.

Drinks after our quarterly incentive

Proud employers of the year!

I've been here over 5 yrs & it's been amazing! It’s a fun environment, casual dress, & a great office. The Directors have created a special company that encourages individuality - rare in recruitment

More than just a pay cheque

Every job offers a pay cheque, it’s the little-added extras that make a workplace even greater. From the start we wanted to create a workplace people would enjoy coming to, that would support and develop careers, and to reward the excellent work our teams do.

Arriving in Marbella - Incentive Trip

Whilst many agencies can be cut throat Eligo offer an environment that thrives on progression and success.

The team

Let's start with the incentives

We have the usual incentives including bi-annual holidays (so far we've been to places including Dubai, Vegas, Marbella, Morzine, Barbados, and Croatia), quarterly achiever's incentives which always involve something fun and a swanky meal, and of course, our weekly game of Deal of Fortune! As with all things Eligo, we're always looking to reward our values, performance, and more, so expect spot recognition and more. Check out some of the pictures on the page to see what we get up to.

Your personal development and progression

It's not ideal having to approach the topic of a pay rise when you feel you need it, nor have to ask about promotions and the like. Your progression is just as important to us as it is you. It's why we have both a fixed Personal Development Plan and Progression Structure. With 6 monthly pay reviews and what's needed to guarantee a rise and/or promotion as well as a wealth of other development options confirmed before you start the quarter, you'll never need to head into a meeting not knowing what's going to happen ever again.

Mo Money, Mo Problems

Commission structures shouldn't be complicated and you should be rewarded handsomely for your talents. Hopefully our structure fulfils both of those requirements. What's more, we recognise that you're likely leaving a successful desk to join us. As such we've got a separate structure in place for your first 6 months to ensure that the rewards don't stop. We run our commission on a quarterly basis, giving you a sizeable chunk every 3 months, especially once you're into the 40% bracket! Ultimately, our structure is tailored to be the best for the best, no clauses attached. We'll support you in every way to grow with Eligo, to bill more, and to watch your pay cheque grow too.

Deal of Fortune

I have a million ideas but often no idea or time of how to implement them. Having marketing and specialised support there to help me has helped in so many ways.

The Academy

The Eligo Academy is our training programme dedicated to newcomers to the industry and career-movers. Whilst it's a great opportunity to welcome new talent to our company it's also a great opportunity for you to welcome a dedicated resourcers and account managers to your team. Just when you think you've maxed out what you can achieve, we'll always be there to support you and help you bill more.

Work Hard, Play...

It's hard to hear this cliche across recruitment over and over. From the get-go our main focus has been to 'Be More You'; embrace what makes you great, what you enjoy, and work according to that whilst having fun along the way. We're here because we love recruitment and how it's done at Eligo. We also enjoy the company of those around us. From nights out to weekly 5-a-side and a whole host of other activities, there's plenty to enjoy in and outside of work.

The Commission

As we said above, our commission is paid on a quarterly basis giving you a sizable chunk especially once you hit the 40% bracket! Our plan for this is laid out below. First 6 Months: £0 - £30,000 = 10% £30,000 - £45,000 = 25% £45,000 + = 40% Permanent Structure (Quarterly): £0 - £18000 = Threshold (0%) £18,000 - £45,000 = 25% £45,000 + = 40% Contract Structure (Quarterly): £0 - £10,000 = Threshold (0%) £10,000 - £20,000 = 10% £20,000 - £30,000 = 20% £30,000 + = 25%

The training scheme itself is without a doubt one of the best and well-planned programmes I have come across in terms of learning a new industry.

The Office

It's brand new (we moved in at the start of the year) and it's all ours! With years of organic growth and the success that comes from sticking to our values and recruiters like you, we've been able to purchase our own office and continue looking to the future. We're pretty proud of that. Take a look at our office page to find out more about the office and the joys of Wimbledon, and then of course, come and visit us to find out more!

Got an idea? Let's make it happen

Have you ever stopped and just thought "who on earth thought to do that first", I mean, we're all thankful for the genius that first brought us pizza. Ideas should be celebrated and supported. That's why if you have an idea for something, can show us your plan and how you're going to make it work, we'll back you the whole way. It might be growing, or, starting a sector, sponsoring or hosting an event, taking an evening class, or simply coming up with a crazy new sales game. Take a look at most parts of our business and you'll realise it's how we got to where we are.

Beer Fridays

Being able to enjoy yourself and do what makes you happy has been in our ethos from the start. It's the reason some of our values include Be More You and Life's Too Short. Every Friday we open up the alcohol cupboard, enjoy a tipple, and celebrate the week. We also do an end-of-month wrap up each month where we review the month, fill you in on the in's and out's of what's been going on at management level, get together for team-based activities, and usually move on to one of our local establishments!

Our office garden

Eligo is one of those rare agencies that care and understand the importance of communities in technical disciplines.

Every year we recognise our Wimbledon location by hosting our "Pimms O'Clock" event for clients and candidates

Our management team is over 50% women, with the trend continuing across the company

Charity

This year we've partnered with an amazing local charity to focus our fundraising efforts on. Jigsaw4u are a local charity doing amazing things with children in the area who have suffered bereavement, abuse, and more. As part of this we run many charity events as a company whilst you're also encouraged to bring your own ideas to the table for fundraising, where we'll all get behind you.

As well as the quality of training, Eligo really stands by its core values which is something that is rare in a lot of companies. Everyone in the company is friendly and full of advice.

Community

Community is important to us in every sense. We're very active in our local community with excellent relationships with local businesses and charities as well as the chamber of commerce. It's also ingrained in the way we work; we don't just see ourselves as a supplier to the many sectors and industries we work in, we're part of them. From being able to attend talks and events both here and abroad to sponsoring and hosting meetups, you're encouraged to get involved! It's part of what has driven our success.

We started Eligo because we believed Recruitment could be better; we believed a working day could be better' we believe that by partnering with us, a company could be better. Whether you work for us or work with us, there should be no restrictions on what is achievable with Eligo, and more importantly, our focus will always be on you.
