Unique apprenticeship opportunity at Next Phase!

We have a unique opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and ambitious person who is looking to join a fast-growing recruitment company as a Data Technician. Whilst this new role will encompass all aspects of data analysis in a dynamic sales environment, you will also have a people-first approach as you look to use this data to understand the narrative of the business, and influence new data-led strategies to improve our internal processes and sales initiatives.

You will be paid an apprenticeship salary of £15,000, in addition to which you will undertake an accredited Data Technician apprenticeship. You will be able to allocate some of your work time to your studies each day.

Your role as a Data Technician

Alongside studying for a Data Technician apprenticeship, you will join a small, busy team and will have a range of responsibilities to support our Data Analyst: 

· Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports for senior leadership and sales teams 

· Produce and deliver monthly overview on performance issues and suggested improvements 

· Produce and deliver monthly overview on process best practice and suggested improvements 

· Conduct regular CRM data updates and sweeps 

· Create, maintain and improve central company process documents 

· Help deliver weekly central sales information to consultants 

· Identify and proactively address system-related process errors across the company 

· Deliver timely and accurate sales data to support specific projects

Skills and experience required

We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic individual who has a real interest in data collection and analysis. You will need to have a keen eye for detail, the ability to work with numbers, and strong IT literacy (and the ability to learn new software). You must be a critical thinker, with the ability to think creatively.

You must be good at managing your own time and confident in talking to people inside and outside the business. We will consider people with different levels of education, though you must have GCSE level C or level 4 or above in English and Maths.
