Last Friday we all travelled up to Central London to enjoy a lovely 3 course meal at Gordon Ramsey’s Heddon Street restaurant.

The weather was absolutely divine, as well as the food! It was such a lovely opportunity to all sit down together outside of the office and get to know each other more.

We rewarded ourselves for all our hard work, having exceeded our quarterly targets, both for sales and our client service standards.

We are excited about the ongoing growth of our team and the continuing expansion of Next Phase in the fascinating worlds of ATMP, Biotech and MedTech!

Fancy joining our team? Please get in touch!

#nextphase #growth #target #achievement #progression #london #teamworkOur day job is about helping people with their career paths… but yesterday we branched out into flaring ACTUAL paths! 🛤

As part of our ongoing commitment to volunteering in the local community, our Next Phase gardeners spent a few hours widening a path in Horsham Park.

The most rewarding part was when an elderly gentleman in a wheelchair came past, saying he hadn’t been able to use this section of path in a long time. This was really heartwarming, and a reminder that relatively small jobs like this can have a huge impact on people’s well-being.

Thanks to the wonderful people at Friends of Horsham for organising this! 💚

#nextphase #volunteering #peoplefirst #communityThe award for the best costume goes to……???? 🦸‍♀️ 🦸‍♂️

Last Thursday our whole Next Phase team took part in a team building day at Arena Pursuits in Kent.

We had an absolute blast!💥
Raft building, quad biking and various problem-solving activities. It included many laughs and all of us being able to get to know each other on a more personal level.

Last week was Children’s Hospice week and our chosen charity, @chestnuttreehouse, asked everyone to become a superhero for the day to raise awareness of all their little superhero’s. Therefore, as a team we decided to all dress up for our team building day to show our support. 🧡

#nextphase #teambuilding #teamwork #charity #support #superheroOur volunteering journey continues at our local park 🌳
However, this time we got to do it on a lovely hot summer’s morning in the sunshine!☀️🌷

We were informed that Horsham Park has entered a competition and the park will be judged next Tuesday. Therefore, our job was to make sure everything looked neat and tidy by pulling out weeds, trimming back bushes to make sure they do not hang over the fences and having some training on how to use a mattock so we could then get the stumps out of the ground 🪵💪🏼

To our surprise we also saw the new baby ducks that had hatched from their eggs that we came across the last time we volunteered which was a lovely sight🦆

This is such a beautiful park, and we are so grateful that we are able to help out where we can and cannot wait to complete our next and final session! 🤩✨

#nextphase #volunteering #localpark #tidy #teamwork #nature #summerToday is June 1st which means it is the start to Cancer Immunotherapy Month! 🤍

We are sure that we are all in agreement that we want to help create a world that is #immune2cancer, through many individuals dedication to developing new treatment options for Cancer patients.

#cancer #immunotherapy #immune2cancer #support #staystrong #cancerfree #aims #goals #research #positivity #nextphaseCan you imagine living with the constant pain of autoimmune arthritis?

On May 20th every year, the world observes Autoimmune Arthritis Day, an event aimed at raising awareness about autoimmune and auto-inflammatory diseases that show up with arthritis as a major component.

The day has been organised since 2012, by a US-based non-profit organisation - International Foundation for Autoimmune and Auto-inflammatory Arthritis.

Millions of people around the world have a form of autoimmune arthritis disease, about 50% of people with an autoimmune arthritis disease either do not get a proper diagnosis or they are diagnosed with an undifferentiated disease.

Symptoms of auto-inflammatory/autoimmune diseases and arthritis include:
Sever fatigue that is not reliever with caffeine intake
Fever
Brain fog
Flu-like symptoms

If you have arthritis too you would have the following additional symptoms that will show up (or flare-up) along with the above-mentioned symptoms and then subside spontaneously:
Persistent joint pain for longer than 6 weeks
Swollen joints
Stiffness in the body which worsens with rest

It is important to note that not everyone with an auto-immune arthritis disease will experience the whole list of symptoms.

If you know somebody who is suffering from this, help is available, and a great deal of research is going into new treatments.

#nextphase #autoimmunedisease #arthritis #research #support #autoinflammatory #diseaseWe are happy to announce we have now gained 2 new members of our gardening team!🌳

Yesterday morning we returned to Horsham Park as part of our commitment to local volunteering. This consisted of pulling out weeds, trimming hedges, trying not to get stung by all the stinging nettles and pleasantly being surprised with our finding of a Duck’s nest full of eggs! 🦆

We are so grateful to work round the corner from this beautiful park and want to help wherever we can. Especially as this week is Mental Health Awareness week, which is based around “Nature”. This is certainly a very personal subject for many people in which it felt so nice to be able to do something that is also in relation to that.💫💚

CSR

As a company, we are passionate about giving back to the local community and charities, and recently launched our volunteer and charity programme which gives staff paid time away from the office to help out locally and encourages everyone in the company to get involved in fundraising activities. This year we have selected Chestnut Tree House and Macmillan as our chosen charities and are embarking on a number of charity events throughout the year. Our team have also signed up to volunteer in the local community in a number of different areas; including Age UK, a local youth centre and to help keep the local park clean and tidy.
