Our local volunteering programme for 2022 is continuing well and keep us all active (and muddy)! Well done to Cameron Turnbull, Megan Uden, Ollie Gearing and Katie Benham for getting out in the elements and helping to dig and clear a pond at Warnham Nature Reserve.

At Next Phase we give everyone 2 paid days per year to go out and volunteer in the local area, helping a range of different charities, small businesses and community groups.

To learn more about our commitment to local volunteering, and to discuss how our Next Phase team may be able to lend a hand to help your group in the Sussex area, please get in touch!

#volunteering #horsham #westsussex #warnhamnaturereserve #nextphaseWithin a recruitment business, the public focus tends to be on the recruitment consultants. However, what people don’t always see is the huge amount of work that goes on behind the scenes. One of the main reasons we have been so successful in recent years, and how we are able to grow Next Phase with confidence, is because of the incredible work conducted by our “Team FAB” (Finance, Admin & Business Analysis).

We are extremely proud of our team. We are also really excited to announce several promotions and role changes, which were revealed internally last week:

> Claire Hales has been promoted from Operations Manager to Finance Supervisor
> Sarah Seaford has been promoted from Finance Manager to Operations Director
> Katie Benham is progressing from Operations Co-ordinator to Operations Manager
> Sophie O’Sullivan is working towards progressing from Data Analyst to Business Analyst
> Shane Lees is working towards progressing from Business Analyst to Senior Business Analyst

Well done to all of 5 of these wonderful people!

#recruitmentcareers #jobsinrecruitment #nextphase #horsham #complianceHave you booked your ticket for this year’s Advanced Therapies Congress yet? If not, contact us and we can get you a 15% discount on the usual delegate fee!

We are really excited to be sponsoring the event at the ExCeL in London on 24th – 25th May, and the attendee list is already looking to be well over 1,000 people. If your business is within the ATMP sector, this will be an excellent opportunity for networking and we look forward to seeing you there!

#AdTherapies2022 #advancedtherapies #atmp #nextphasePlease sponsor us for a wonderful cause! We have until the end of April to raise £1,000 for @actionmedres, who fund life-changing research into epilepsy and other conditions affecting young people.

In June, 6 of our Next Phase team will be taking part in the ‘Snowdon at Night’ trek to raise money for @actionmedres , one of our two chosen charities for 2022. We will be hiking up Snowdon at midnight, to reach the summit by sunrise. Not for the faint-hearted!

We have until the end of April to raise sufficient charitably donations to be able to participate in the hike, so any contributions you or your colleagues may be able to make will be very gratefully received.

Over 78,000 children and teenagers in the UK have a form of epilepsy. Sadly, medication doesn’t work for up to one third of cases and other treatments, such as surgery, are not always effective. That’s why Action continues to drive forward research to help children living with epilepsy. If you can help in any way to support our team and raise the required money, you will be making a hugely contribution to the ongoing development of different treatment options.

Thank you.

#epilepsy #epilepsyresearch #charity #fundraising #nextphaseAbseiling, archery, low ropes, zip wire, gladiator challenge...we had a brilliant team-building day at Lodge Hill in Pulborough last week!

It was a great way to get to know each other better and celebrate a really successful start to the year!

#teambuilding #westsussex #southdowns #nextphase #recruitmentlifeOur local volunteering programme for 2022 is well and truly underway! Well done to Adrienn Prezenszki, Sophie O’Sullivan, Nicole Cooper and Jay Baylis for getting out in the elements and helping to redirect a stream at Warnham Nature Reserve.

Warnham, on the outskirts of Horsham, is a beautiful 92-acre nature reserve which is home to over 100 species of birds, over 400 species of plants, a 17-acre millpond and all kinds of other wildlife including butterflies and dragonflies. It is well worth a visit if you are in the Horsham area and we are proud to help support our local community.

At Next Phase we give everyone 2 paid days per year to go out and volunteer in the local area, helping a range of different charities, small businesses and community groups.

#volunteering #horsham #westsussex #warnhamnaturereserve #nextphaseGetting out in the sunshine, surrounded by adorable dogs – what’s not to love?!

At Next Phase we give everyone 2 paid days per year to go out and volunteer in the local area, helping a range of different charities, small businesses and community groups. Last week Gabby Boczon, Claire Hales and Aaron Stone spent the day at @holbrookanimalrescue a wonderful family-run organisation.

Founded around 26 years ago, Holbrook Animal Rescue was set up to help abandoned dogs and cats. Unlike many other rescues, their dogs aren't kept in kennels - they sleep in the house and are free to run and play in the garden and fields. Claire, Aaron and Gabby spent a few hours helping to clear a path and help out in the fields – and yes, there was plenty of affection from the dogs!

#volunteering #horsham #westsussex #animalrescue #horshamcic #nextphase #takeawalkintheparkAs part our recruitment training programme, our new starters all go through an extensive series of internal and external training modules to hone their skills in specialist recruitment and develop their knowledge and confidence in different areas of life sciences.

Well done to Oli Baylis and Nicole Cooper, who both passed a 2-day course on excellent candidate service with our external trainer with flying colours!

To learn more about the internal and external training we provide at Next Phase, and the different career paths that this training can led to, please get in touch.

#recruitmentlife #recruitment #horsham #nextphase #horshambusinessesMaggie Thatcher, the Pink Panther, Sandy from Grease, the Mad Hatter, a Roman Emperor, a Viking and many others... all welcome here!

We had a great day in fancy dress and a charity quiz yesterday, doing our part for Comic Relief and having lots of fun in the process. Particular congratulations to Oli Baylis for winning the prize for best costume and wearing it boldly in the town at lunchtime!

Best wishes from the Next Phase team.

CSR

As a company, we are passionate about giving back to the local community and charities, and recently launched our volunteer and charity programme which gives staff paid time away from the office to help out locally and encourages everyone in the company to get involved in fundraising activities. This year we have selected Make-A-Wish Foundation UK and Action Medical Research as our chosen charitie s and are embarking on a number of charity events throughout the year. Our team have also signed up to volunteer in the local community in a number of different areas; including Age UK, a local youth centre and to help keep the local park clean and tidy.
