NJP Selection Group - Baine Wallace

The NJP Selection Group, established in 2009 at the height of the last UK recession, set out with the strategy to develop global, yet niche focused recruitment practices. 

Now over 11 years later we are made up of three recruitment brands, NJP Global, Aston Chambers and Baine Wallace.  

The three practices are truly global with less that 5% of all our assignments being undertaken in the UK.  

We have also recently relocated to a brand new HQ, located in the heart of Leeds city centre and we are now looking to grow across all three practices with a number of strategic hires as we build towards 2021. 

Growth and Development Opportunities

All but one of our recruitment leadership team have been developed from within, so whether you are looking to eventually manage or not, the opportunity exists. 

Only last year we put our leadership team through a 12-month externally run leadership development program as one of many internal/external programs we offer to our employees.  

We also run regular group training sessions led by the leadership teams alongside mentoring programs for our junior consultants. Our aim is to have a team of engaged, talented, high performing people at the top of their game, so learning and development is a top priority. 

The opportunity

We look for recruiters, that genuinely get excited by the market sector, that have character, resilience and great commercial awareness. We undertake the majority of our assignments with clients from across the world, so having great communications skills is an absolute must!

Baine Wallace - Intl. Advisory & Consulting

Working alongside the Practice Director, you would be responsible for establishing a new complimentary vertical market sector across Biomedical / Medical Device / Healthcare / Cybersecurity.

The role would require you to build and develop relationship within consultancy / advisory and legal market sectors. With the majority of the work being in the US, we would be interested in individuals that have operated across Europe and the US.  
It would also be useful if you have previously had exposure to legal, financial or consultancy recruitment sectors.

About you

For our experienced hires, we look for a demonstrable track record of consistent billing revenue over a couple of years. We are not too worried if you haven’t ever billed more than £250,000 but we require your ambition to get there. Our markets are well balanced, stable and growing, with our average fees across all three businesses of about £27,500.  

As an experienced consultant, you'll need to be inherently proactive, have a demonstrable record of success in finding and securing new assignments, whilst being comfortable with headhunting passive candidates.  

We are open to your market experience, as long as you have some affinity to recruitment within the manufacturing environments across all areas (sales, marketing, operations and technical). We are also happy to speak with you if you have never recruited outside of the UK, as we can teach this aspect.

Baine Wallace specialise in mission critical executive and leadership appointments within the Global Business Advisory & Consulting sectors. We serve some of the World’s most demanding clients within Corporate Finance & Restructuring, Economic Consulting, Forensic & Litigation Services & Technology. Our professional Consultants and Research team have extensive experience in sourcing talent for client assignments in both mature and emerging markets and regularly conduct searches across International boundaries. The Practice works across all functional areas including emerging technology, data and analytics, strategy and operations, finance, human capital, risk, and tax & litigation.
