About Us

IRG Executive Search has a unique offering; an executive search and headhunting firm operating in Manchester, but working on a global basis. IRG was founded in 2001, by Michael Mcloughlin our Managing Director. The firm’s principle purpose is to focus on the complete satisfaction of the clients that we represent. Commission Structure

We work mostly on a retained basis with our Clients (>70%). Our fees start at around £20,000 and are uncapped. As such we have a generous commission structure with all Consultants taking home at least 10% of the fee earned for all placements made. Commission increases even further with Mandate and Account Management responsibility. Our commission is paid when the Candidate begins their new role.

The Team

We work collectively and collaboratively in the best interests of our clients. We're a true team and often socialise together outside the workplace. Career Progression

Graduates join the firm on competitive starting salaries of £18,000 and immediately benefit from an uncapped commission structure. Salaries increase with successful completion of the probation period and continue to increase through a combination of annual performance reviews and typical promotion routes. Your career here is what you make it - if you'd prefer an Account Management style role, we have a track for that or if being Delivery Focused is more your thing, we offer this route too. We want to make the most of an individual's skills and capabilities and won't limit their success here.
