Role Introduction

Our executive search division is looking to add an Associate or Associate Director to join our Financial Services team based in Hong Kong. Working within an entrepreneurial team, the successful candidate will have a unique opportunity to contribute to the team’s success from day one, be given opportunities to grow and to learn the executive search business and key client service skills from working closely with a seasoned team. Wellesley works with market-leading Financial Services organisations across the region. We are well-respected for our front-office track record but have also developed capability in the middle and back office over the years. We have also invested heavily in technology and continue to challenge ourselves to do more. Though the firm has grown rapidly since inception, Wellesley has maintained an entrepreneurial environment that is focused first and foremost on meeting and exceeding our clients' expectations.

Potential Candidate

We are most interested in those individuals who match our core principles of a commitment to quality and excellence in providing a true value-added service as industry advisors, and people who hold themselves highly accountable to deliver on one of our clients' most significant challenges: recruiting the best talent. This role will focus on all aspects of research and competitor/market intelligence gathering, project management and mandate execution, in addition to playing an important role with the Alternative Investment team’s marketing efforts.

Role / Responsibilities

 Support the Financial Services team in all phases of search execution including: - Sourcing (creating a job specification, researching and mapping candidate pools, profiling candidates, reaching out to candidates for fit and interest, logistics) - Screening (candidate assessment, screening for skills and cultural fit, writing up notes, and being responsible for follow-up) - Execution (presenting candidates to the client, discussing fit, managing the process of interview stages, negotiating offer terms and facilitating acceptances)  Develop and maintain relationships in the Financial Services community to assist prequalifying candidates, and to support business development  Support the regional Financial Services team in all phases of marketing and business development, from researching prospects, making marketing outreaches and setting up meetings
