Our commission structure works on a sliding scale, starting at the threshold which is 50% of your monthly target. We then have a few accelerators to get you motivated to ‘smash through’ your targets as well as quarterly and consistency based incentives. Threshold - £10,000 Monthly Revenue – Paid 10% commission £10,001 - £20,000 Monthly Revenue – Paid 20% commission £20,001 + Monthly Revenue - Paid 30% commission. As an example, a £150,000 biller will take home over £20,000 on top of their basic salary.

Who We Are

Finlay James is first and foremost a technology recruitment company. But we're so much more than just recruiters. Founded in 2003, we are a small but fast-paced and dynamic company, with offices in Manchester (HQ), London and San Francisco. We work with seed-stage Startups all the way through to billion dollar Tech Unicorns in AdTech, MarTech, Fintech, Cybersecurity, IT Services, BI & Big Data, SaaS and PaaS. We're not your traditional technology recruitment company. We don't like CV's and we don’t ask our candidates to write lengthy cover letters. Our approach is unique, but it works. That is why 90% of our business is done with clients we have worked with before.

Infrastructure and Tech

We work on a Cloud-based server, meaning our team members can access their work and their desktops from anywhere in the world (so long as they have Wifi… which is apparently a little sketchy in Phucket). Like most recruiters, we have access to an industry-specific CRM – RDB. But unlike most other recruiters, we also use Inbound Marketing Platform Hubspot to add another layer to our Business Development and Recruitment Marketing efforts. We believe our people are the pillars to our success, which is why we are dedicated to investing in and developing our talent, providing exceptional and on-going training both internally and externally. Our in-house Training and Development Manager, Mike runs our onboarding and training. Typically, on day one you’ll head up to Manchester HQ, meet the team and dive straight into FJ life – learning in both a classroom and desk-based environment, giving you all the right tools to hit the ground running. For more senior hires, we also offer external training for things such as management, senior sales or simply brushing up on good habits with industry experts.
