As a result of growth plans for the business we have an exciting opportunity developing a niche sector within an established SPS desk – Agribusiness. This includes Agrochemicals, Animal Nutrition & Health, and Food Ingredients. We partner with some of the worlds leading companies within the sector to identify top talent from mid-management up to board level positions. The position on offer has two main parts: - Recruiting for retained roles within established SPS desks. This enables you to hit the ground running and to get an intimate understanding of the SPS Forensic Search Methodology. - Business Development around creating your own niche. Full support and strategic guidance is provided by the senior management team to ensure you are successful. The majority of the retained projects that we work are international positions with 90%+ of placements made outside of the UK. International is in our company name for a reason!
You’ll be joining a small, close-knit team here at SPS International, with an established Team Leader to provide you with readily accessible support. Unlike most of our competitors, the company culture is not corporate and stuffy. We pride ourselves on having a professional environment but with the freedom for your own personality to come through. We don’t want SPS clones!
Primarily you will need to be high achiever who is willing to put in the work rate required to be successful in this job. As with most recruitment roles the position is heavily phone based, however we cannot have phone robots. The difficulty and level of detail that our searches require means that we need a critical thinker with the determination and pride to complete assignments within the stipulated timeframe. Entrepreneurial flare is also beneficial in building your own niche sector in as quicker time as possible!
We will provide you with all the necessary training and tools to build a successful career within higher end of the recruitment sector. Every individual has different strengths and we really try to identify early on what they are and how to best utilise them. Identifying areas of improvements is also key and throughout your career at SPS training never stops, with regular training workshops throughout the year. We must be doing something right……. we have a staff retention rate of 95%!
