A bit about our San Francisco office so far...

With the Californian lifestyle on hand, married with the huge Life Sciences hub in the Bay area, it was a no brainer when Meet decided to launch an office in SF. Our SF office is one of the new kids on the block. It's only 2 years old, but already has made a huge impact on the West Coast and enjoyed enormous commercial success. We have been industry experts within the Life Sciences sector for several years across the EU and are able to leverage this knowledge and our existing relationships to partner with some of the most innovative and exciting Pharma, Biotech & Medical Device companies on the West Coast. If you already recruit in the Life Sciences sector on the West Coast, you know how lucrative this market can be and if you don't then you certainly will want to when you hear that fees begin upwards of $40k - plug that in to our uncapped commission scheme then you really will be living the California dream!

What will you get up to?

We know you probably know the day to day expectations of the job by now...but here they are (just incase)... - Play a mission critical role in helping build out our presence on the West Coast. - Act as a key contact to clients, delivering an outstanding service and develop personal relationships to yield repeat business for you and your business unit. - Setting the pace for your team by meeting revenue targets and therefore build a reputation as one of Meet’s best consultants. - Develop (with support and training) the skills to mentor and support junior members of staff. - Consistent contributor to new business opportunities by considering and applying all routes to market and commercial decision making. - Provide thought leadership to candidates, clients and peers. - Autonomously prioritise own work load, both in terms of personal billing and mentoring. - Act as a role model for the team; demonstrating our values and inspiring a strong work ethic amongst the team.

A bit about you...

We're looking for someone: - Who would relish playing a mission critical role in scaling a business and being part of something special! - With a minimum of 2 years recruitment experience (If you've got experience in the Life Science sector that's great, but it's not essential)! - Experience of consistently hitting deal and growth targets (this one is essential)! - Good at maintaining high positivity and motivation amongst a team, driving them to achieve the business goals. - Commercially-savvy and adept at spotting opportunities to increase revenue. - Clear and strong communication skills. - Someone who thrives in an autonomous environment but also enjoys being part of a close knit, friendly team.

Who will you be working with?

Whitney Hood leads the Medical Devices Division in San Francisco. She's was born & bred in the Bay Area and has been recruiting into Medical Devices since her first role at aged 22. Passionate about the Med Dev space, Whitney's expertise in the area have seen this team dominate the market. Mike, the VP, relocated from Meet's HQ in 2016 with his family to launch the West Coast office! He recgonized how great the lifestyle was and most importantly the earning potential in this non-saturated market. Mike now leads Meet's Life Sciences unit in SF!
