Our commission scheme is paid in 2 parts: monthly plus a quarterly kicker! Monthly: 20% of all billings over £5000 threshold Quarterly Kicker : 20% of all billings over £30,000 quarterly threshold Example: Monthly Billings Jan - £10,000 Feb - £15,000 March - £20,000 Monthly Commission Jan - £1000 Feb - £2000 March - £3000 Quarterly Kicker £3000 TOTAL £9000 on quarterly billings of £45,000 We also pay spot bonuses for people who go above and beyond!


Founded in 2016, we're a small, niche boutique agency, which means we're all about relationships over making a quick buck and really pride ourselves on giving amazing service. Essentially, in our market reputation is everything (and we like to think we've built a pretty good one so far!) We grew our turnover by 140% in 2018 and whilst this clearly an exciting time for Hawkwood, it also means we need to develop our culture, processes and systems in line with this growth. This is hopefully where you come in... we're offering an opportunity for you to present new ideas and help us grow as a business but we also get that working in an ever-changing environment might not be for everyone! Hawkwood is an informal environment built on entreprenuership and our team are self-motivated, consultative and creative individuals; who all wanted to move away from a 'salesy' environment into somewhere collaborative and non-hierarchical.


If you're reading this, there's a likelihood that you know what a recruiter does by now... so we'll just cover off this bit off with a brief summary - You'll be sourcing candidates (normally via our database, LinkedIn and referrals), before meeting them and managing them through the interview process. Most of our business comes through word of mouth, so we don't really do much BD here! Whilst we can't promise that will always be the case, we can promise you won't be hammering the phones making sales calls all day long. We're working in a really exciting growing market, so most of our business development is through building relationships with our candidates and finding out about the latest Tech / Media businesses launching in the London! We're lucky enough to already working with some of the top brands in our field, so you'll get exposure to some of the best out there and will be helping Hawkwood to grow through developing great relationships with our clients!

Ideally, we would like you to have some recruitment experience and fundamentally get what the industry is all about. We're a specialist, so our clients have high expectations of us and we've found the transition to be far more easier this way. In the last few months we have: - Implemented a new CRM - Planned and produced the video you can see on our page - Re-done our T&C's - Moved office - Re-developed our contractor/temp offering - And more! The thrill of being in a growing business is that you just don't know what the future holds. That's why we're not going to promise specific projects, but we do have lots of ideas bubbling away and just need a few extra hands to help us deliver them. Whilst the core recruitment part of the role will main a constant, and the majority of the role, there is definite scope to help develop our business in other ways. Truthfully, we think this is where we differ to other more established agencies. We're still figuring some things out and you can play an active role in determining our future.
