Picfair is an investment-backed image marketplace based in east London, turning the commercial photography industry on its head. Our revolutionary model allows contributors - both professional and amateur - to set their own image fees, and keep 80% of their royalties. We've built a library of over 6 million images and a network of over 35,000 advocate photographers in 130 countries. While we continue to build their marketplace and stores products, Picfair is now looking for a new business specialist to drive our agency business - selling our exclusive images & assignments products across in the creative agency & corporate marketing landscapes.
We know that recruiters are some of the hardest-working sales people on the planet. We're looking for someone with a deep knowledge across the creative agency landscape, and with a broad network to call on - from the holding companies to the indies. Where once you were placing candidates, now you'll be selling a revolutionary new creative product. We want someone who's a self-starter - who can build something formidable from the ground up.
As a 12-person startup, you'll be in the heart of the business - reporting directly to the CEO, with instant access to the technology team (they're on the desk next to you), and closely liaising with marketing and client management. We move quickly - if something needs to change, we change it. If a process needs to be improved, we improve it. You'll be helping guide us.
• A wealth of experience selling to the agency, advertising, and corporate marketing sectors. Image & Assignments sales a bonus. • A deep understanding of the agency & corporate marketing landscapes • A large network of existing contacts within these sectors • High energy levels and a relentless focus on seeking and securing new business • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets • Highly developed communication and social skills and a good aptitude for collaboration. You can demonstrate the skills that enabled you to hunt out new lucrative revenue streams in your current role. • You can work independently and with discipline in return you will have the freedom and responsibility to make decisions independently.
