We're changing everything ....

Three crazy things about the commercial photography industry: • Amateurs aren't allowed in. Despite living though the biggest growth in amateur photography ever, the industry is still almost exclusively professional. THE PICFAIR WAY: blow the doors open, use smart tech to discover a new generation of talent. • Photographers usually receive less than 20% of the royalties their images generate. THE PICFAIR WAY: Flip it. Give photographers the royalties they deserve, while we take a small cut. We believe in rewarding creativity, not exploiting it. • There are over 185 million ways to license an image on existing platforms. THE PICFAIR WAY: We've built a new standard for image licensing, with four simple licensing types.

"These are the images, and the photographers, that the brands of the future want to work with." Tom Hulme - Picfair Investor

The future ....

Having built a huge network of photographers and a huge database of images, we're starting to work with agencies & corporates on exclusive projects - sourcing photographers across the globe & arranging image buyouts. Our first clients: Google, Ogilvy, Visit Britain, Quill Content....

We're based in the heart of Silicon Roundabout, in a network of buildings with dozens of other startups.

"Picfair is building something that could change the way photography works, for everyone. *This* is what the future of photography will look like" - Anthony Eskinazi, Picfair Investor

"This agency is like no other, they’re treating their photographers with respect. Their content is not only brilliant, it’s also truly authentic." Lauren Dudley, Picfair customer

Benji Lanyado - Founder & CEO

Former Guardian & New York Times journalist learned how to code to launch the company.
