We don't have offices nor preferred locations. Remote working is our USP so if you're based in a far corner of Cornwall or the most northern part of the Scottish Highlands, as long as you have wifi and a good phone signal you're good to go.

You're setting up your own recruitment business but without the start-up admin, costs and frustration. We give you access to a full remote infrastructure so you can do the day job from day one.

How does it work?

We give you access to a full remote infrastructure, otherwise known as a virtual box of tricks, that has the full toolkit you need to set up your own recruitment business under the established Boffin brand name. You work from home, or a cafe, or wherever tickles your fancy and you define your own geographical parameters. You also choose the industry that you want to recruit within, generally based on your prior experience and existing relationships. Temporary as well as permanent recruitment is an option. We work with you to develop your Boffin Business Plan so on day one, you know exactly what you're doing. There is no upfront investment on your part. Nor any monthly retainer fees. We work on a very clear operational profit split basis. This is negotiable based upon your level of experience/network and works from 60:40 to 70:30 (the larger percentage is yours).

Our contract can be terminated at any time and does NOT have a non-compete clause. Your clients and candidates are yours. We can't, and just wouldn't want to stop you from taking them with you in the event that the relationship was dissolved.

How Boffin started

Victoria, Boffin's founder, started the company 3 years ago when the work/life balance working in the recruitment industry started to crumble. Then having 10 years of London-based experience in the industry across two global high street brands and a boutique Charing Cross based company she knew that she had the experience, network and relationships to build her own recruitment business. With the desired bonus of flexibility that's needed when you're juggling all the balls. With that in mind, when it came to looking to expand at the beginning of 2017, Victoria decided that rather than increase her local headcount, she'd offer this flexible working model and solution to others with the same need. So, The Boffin Network was born. A network of self-employed independent recruiters located remotely and across all corners of the UK. As a team we meet for special occasions and talk daily across FaceBook, Whatsapp and FaceTime.

At Boffin we understand that supporting the shifting priorities of a workforce can only be a positive thing, this is why our consultants work the hours that best suit them
